"It was a virus. An infection. You didn't need a doctor to tell you that. It was the blood. It was something in the blood. By the time they tried to evacuate the cities it was already too late. Army blockades were overrun. And that's when the exodus started. Before the TV and radio stopped broadcasting there were reports of infection in Paris and New York. We didn't hear anything more after that.’"

Roleplay Sample: "Your Mission..." the commander started, Irvine sitting in the front row in his desert digital camo listening intently. "...Move to checkpoint Bravo and rendezvous with with your squads. Brief them on the situation at hand, and take your given position along the waterfronts and surrounding buildings. This area must be contained if we're going to get supplies to those who are still trapped in the city. The U.S. ground forces will move in from the other side by pontoon soon after the okay is given by all commanding officers in charge. C-team Delta will move in from 4.6547s as soon red smoke is..."
From what Irvine heard prior to the meeting it was not going to be as easy as going in and securing a few buildings and lighting a smoke signal. It was going to be hell from the monument they set foot on land. No doubt the infected would have guns of their own. Even if they couldn't fire straight...but those that could would be an even bigger danger exactly how intelligent were these Infected going to be? It didn't matter. Irvine was fight for the safety and freedom of all those still in their right minds. Irvine leaned into the officer beside him. "What do you think Dak?" he asked quietly. "Piece of cake..."
"My Leg! That bastard can shoot straight! My Leg!" Shouted Dak from the rubble that he was just hit by an RPG. Irvine rushed over to man laying on his back. "How the Hell did they get and RPG!?" Dak shouted in murder bleeding from his stubs. He grew more and more pale as he was drained from what life what left in him. "H-how..." Irvine looked down at Dak who was dead and soaked in his own blood. Irvine gritted his teeth in anger. It wasn't right why should he be forced to kill the stupid innocent! A bullet whizzed by above him. He sighed and checked the chamber of his rifle. Enough for a few more..." He leaned around the corner and sighted his scope at a gas stations Propane outlet and fired. The explosion was so big it engulfed the Infected around it and covered the area in smoke and fire. It was just enough to give them Cover to move...foreward...
